Almost every Internet user reads news on the Internet. RSS and Atom feeds are the easiest way to get the latest news headlines from various sources. But checking news from various RSS or Atom feed sources is boring and time consuming. Now, with NewsPiper there is no need to hunt for news here and there and no need to check different RSS or Atom feeds one by one, because it is an RSS and Atom feeds client, and we can add our personal favorite channels just by providing the RSS/Atom feed URL. It also comes with an in-built list of some popular RSS/Atom feeds URLs which we can select. It also allows us to follow various blogs that we regularly watch, so it saves us lots of time. With NewsPiper we can see only headlines and brief summary of news, but to read the full story we just need to click on the headline and it will open the webpage in the default web browser.
The desktop panel feature is also very good allowing us to create four frames on the desktop to show a channel in each frame. One of the most useful features is that we can minimize the program to the system tray so that it will remain active to bring all the latest news without consuming desktop space. The included News Bar is also very helpful for everyone as it continuously displays the latest news at the top or bottom of the screen without consuming much desktop space.
